Saying thank you in the UK

Celebrating each other in the UK

Buzz is our UK recognition scheme that enables you to say thanks to each other - it's as simple as that.

It's accessible to all E.ON UK employees via www.eonbuzz.co.uk or by clicking the Buzz links on your intranet.

To access Buzz, you’ll need to either be authenticated on our network or enter a username and password.

When you join the business, you’ll automatically join Buzz too. You’ll be sent a welcome email with how to get started.

Your Buzzes

When you send a Buzz, the recipient and their manager will receive a notification of the Buzz.

All Buzzes you have sent or received yourself over the last three years can also be viewed by logging in.

To showcase the great work, support and collaboration, thank you Buzzes are shared with our leadership teams across the business.

The contents of any Buzzes you send or receive will never be published outside of Buzz without your consent.

New starters and moving teams

We refresh the people data in Buzz monthly, which means it can take up to six weeks for any team changes or new starters to be reflected in the system.

If it’s been more than six weeks and changes aren’t reflected, you can let us know through our support pages on the intranet. Just search Buzz to get started.

Your data and Buzz history

Buzzes you send and receive are stored for three years, after which point they are deleted.

If you leave the business, your Buzz account will be deactivated within 30 days. So that we can continue to share any Buzzes you’ve sent with their recipients, we retain a limited amount of user data (your name and KID) for up to three years after you’ve left.

Further information on how your data is handled and stored can be found in the site privacy policies.

The legal bit

We may, in absolute discretion, terminate, suspend, or change the scheme, or amend the scheme rules at any time, without notice.

By participating in the scheme, you agree to hold E.ON harmless against any damage, loss, claim, cost, or expense that you may suffer or incur arising from your participation in the scheme, and any aspects related thereto and in connection therewith.
